Teresa Leticia Hunter, 54, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2007 at her home in Alamogordo. She was born on October 14, 1952 in Mercedes, Texas to Alfonso and Carmen (Espinoza)Garza-Monroy.
Teresa met and married David Hunter on April 14, 1973 in Laredo, Texas.
Teresa opened her home, especially her kitchen, and her heart to every child and teenager that came over needing a hug, a shoulder to cry on or one of her great meals. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include, her husband of 33 years, David T. Hunter of the family home; daughter, Dorothy Kaylor and husband Phillip and their two sons of Las Vegas, NV; son, David Hunter and wife Summer and their four children of Rio Rancho, NM; mother-in-law, Jeanette Hunter of Alamogordo; sisters, Elena Weyant and Lupita Gomez; and brother, Jerry Garza all of San Antonio, TX.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 pm Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 1522 Walnut Drive with Pastor Chuck Moon officiating.
Cremation has taken place locally at PCS under the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
