Clark, Charles, 89 of Clearwater, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Sabal Palms in Largo. Although slowed physically in his later years his spirt and love of live never diminished. Originally from Randolph, MA he moved his family to Florida in 1972. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
For many years he worked as a District Sales Manager for the Guinness Brewery. Quick with a smile and a joke he will be remembered for his ability to make people laugh even if they had heard his jokes before. He was very active in his church, running the gift store at St. Catherine of Siena until 2011 and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. While his children attended Clearwater Central Catholic HS he was an active member of the Dad’s Club and served as president of the band boosters. A proud veteran of the Army he served in WW2 and was recalled for Korea.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Ann Clark and is survived by his children, Charles Jr, John, Maura, Peter and Raymond as well as 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
