BACHMAN, MAUDIE P., 83, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007. A native of Harrison County, she was born September 20, 1923 to the late Oliver and Nellie Hunter Faith. She was a member of the VFW Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon. She was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Bachman; her brother, Gerome Faith; and her sisters, Louella Frakes, Opal Hardin, Wanda Smith, Anna Mae Emily and Edith Conrad. Survivors include her sons, David L. Bachman (Doris), of Corydon, Joseph A. Bachman (Anita) of Greenville and Richard Paul Bachman (Debbie), of Corydon; her sister, Phyllis Green, of Corydon; five grandchildren, David, Jared and Michelle Bachman and Bill and Jennifer Coakley; and six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Dustin, Mila, McKenzie, Jesse and Mariah, that she lovingly referred to as "babies." Funeral services: 11 a.m. Friday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Vistacare Hospice.
