Ethel J. Wolfe, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2007, at the Church Hill Health Care & Rehab Center following an extended illness, age 75.

Mrs. Wolfe was a native of Scott County, Virginia but had spent most of her adult life in Kingsport, TN. She was a retired employee of Holston Valley Hospital & Medical Center and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Wolfe, grandson, Chad Wolfe and great grandchildren, Noah and Summer Wolfe, her parents, Isaac H. and Myrtle Fuller Peters, two brothers, Curt and Junior Peters, sisters, Betty Brooks, Vicky Ashworth and Peggy Brooks.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James Edward and Sharon Wolfe, Marietta, GA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Ed Allen, Rogersville; Joyce Sebastian, Bristol, TN; and Sandra and Norman Lifford, Church Hill; 6 grandchildren, Chris and Jessica Allen, Stephen Sebastian, Alan Wolfe and Dustin and Matthew Lifford; 4 great grandchildren, Kira Lifford, Thomas Lifford, Andrew Naylor and Victoria Cradic; three brothers, Jack Peters, Joe Peters and Charlie Peters, all of Kingsport; one sister, Martha Dalton, Blountville; severa nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted in the funeral home chapel, Minister Robert Tate officiated. Graveside services were held at the Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Chris Allen, Stephen Sebastian, Alan Wolfe, Dustin Lifford, Matthew Lifford, Andrew Naylor. The Johnson Funeral Home served the family.
