Ruth Ann Tyson, 84, of Souderton, Pennsylvania, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2017, at home. She was born on March 24, 1933, in Dublin, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of the late J. Arthur and Grace C. (Megary) Moyer who raised their family there.

She was the loving wife of Willard K. Tyson for 62 years. They enjoyed many travels together, raised their family in Souderton, and made their home at Souderton Community for thirteen years.

Ruth ministered to children by leading Good News Clubs in her home for many years. She was a faithful member of Hilltown Baptist Church, in Hilltown, where she served since she was a teenager. She loved her church family and served in many capacities including Sunday School teacher, head of the primary children’s department for many years, head of the Vacation Bible School, and led the “Young at Heart” seniors group for many years. Ruth was a kind, loving and generous person to her family and friends.
