She came to Virginia in 1951 and walked right up to the White House gate to ask and successfully get a job at the National Security Resources Board. She also worked at various Boards and Commissions.
Arlene loved the ocean, beach, King Palms and Florida's beautiful Intercoastal Waterway. She moved to Highland Beach in 1994.
She loved mystery spy thriller novels, 3 day bingo marathons, and playing slot machines anywhere and anytime. She taught Mahjong to friends. She enjoyed her Mac computer, a glass of beer, Cramer Mad Money, and redecorating her lovely homes. She loved sailing the Chesapeake Bay, bus trips to Atlantic City, plane trips to Las Vegas, theater in Del Ray Beach, and cruises anywhere.
Arlene lived a full bright life and is ready to be at peace with our Lord.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Kathleen Nys, Lorraine Nelson, Willard (Bud) Beaudin, Elizabeth (Bette) Mashburn and Lyle (Sonny) Beaudin and her half-brother John Beaudin.
She is survived by her half-brothers: Richard Beaudin, George Beaudin, Duane Beaudin and half-sister Janice Beaudin-Johnson, and sister-in-law Shirley Beaudin; 30 nieces and nephews, and many grands.
