Memorial service will be held at 2.00 PM on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 at National Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Tolbert and Dr. Kevin Steele officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Theresia and son Frankie; sisters Cathi Craig (Sam), Luci Rowe, and Anne Hess; his nephew, Sam Craig IV (Kristen) and niece Corena Cawley (Travis); and numerous great nieces and nephews; his father-in-law Frank Greiner; his Maw Maw and Paw Paw, B.J. and Bruce DiArenzo; Jim DiArenzo (Debra), Donna Hopkins (Lyle) and Barrett Hauswirth, Vanessa Wingfield and many friends who claimed him as a part of their family.
Harry is preceded in death by his father Harry Joseph Hess and his mother Beverly Hess.
Harry was the Operations Manager at Dish Network, and a founding member of Three Nails Gospel Church where he served as Education Director and Sunday School teacher. He served for many years in his community as a member of the National Hills Neighborhood Association and a poll worker for Richmond County Board of Elections. He loved bowling, photography, and reading science fiction novels, but he will always be remembered for his great love for people and his Lord Jesus Christ.
