FOUNTAIN. Minn. (Special) —Christian Olaf Fingerson, 82, died Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Preston Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born Oct. 22, 1882, in Chatfield Township to Christ and Rachel Finneseth Fingerson. He married Olga Pekop Aug 26, 1928, at the home of the Rev. N. A. Gierie at Lanesboro. They farmed in the Fountain area until retiring and moving into the village. Survivors are: His wife; one son, Clifford, Fountain; two sisters, Mrs. Thea Sollid, Meachain, Sask., Canada, and Mrs. Hanny Isakson, Elk Mound, Wis., and two brothers, Clarence, Fountain, and Malvin, Chatfield. Five sisters and one brother have died. The funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Fountain Lutheran Church, the Rev. Leander Brakke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Curtis, Kermit and Tilman Fingerson, Orville and Merlin Tangen, and Victor Asleson. Friends may call at R. C. Drury Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today and until 1 p.m. Thursday, then at the church.
