LOCATION: Wright City, Oklahoma

Verna D. (Shepherd) Adams was born September 10, 1963 in DeQueen, AR the daughter of Bobby Gene Shepherd and Catherine (Johnson) Shepherd and had lived most of her life in the Hugo and Wright City areas.

Verna loved sitting on her front porch, spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with family and friends.

Verna was preceded in death by her father, a brother Bobby DeWayne Shepherd and an infant sister, Barbara Shepherd.

Survivors include: her mother, Catherine (Johnson) Shepherd, a son, Kelby Adams & wife Ashley of McAlester, OK; a daughter, Lesha Woods & husband J.D. Woods of Antlers, OK;

Three sisters: Kathy Kirby, Katy Hanson and Charlotte Packwood all of Wright City, OK;

Two grandchildren: Bailey Woods and Jase Woods along with a host of other family and friends.

*It is hard to write words that provide comfort for her children, mother, siblings and other family members. She was a caring, wonderful soul who loved her children and grandchildren. She will be missed and was taken way too early from this life.
