Jessie Ray Lindsey, 81, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017.
He was born March 31, 1936 in Camden, Arkansas.

He was retired from Rheem, a member of Rye Hill Baptist Church, he loved traveling, sports, camping, outdoors, being around his grandchildren, and mostly spending time with his wife.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Laura Lindsey, two brothers; Rev. Edward “Bud” Lindsey, Henry O. Lindsey, and four sisters; Pat Jones, Mary Lou Johnson, Betty Shankle and Lavonia Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife Emma Lindsey of 58 years, one son Anthony Troy Lindsey (Shawna) of Rogers, three grandsons “his boys” oldest is Brayden Lindsey and the two twins Calyn and Keean Lindsey, and five sisters; Gladys Broch (Donnie) of Little Rock, Doris Beaver of Camden, Sue Bussell of Camden, Martha Ann Pennington of Fordyce, and Jane Pennington of Waldo.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy Fort Smith, Arkansas with Interment to follow with military honors at the U.S. National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be T.C. Strawhacker, John Taylor, Tony Lindsey, Todd McClain, Ty Pierce and Jeb Baldwin.
