Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Benton, KY. He worked as a store room clerk for AirCo Alloys, and also served as a Marshall County deputy jailer. Some of his hobbies he enjoyed the most were classic cars, classic toy trains, as well as, devoting his time to help with the Marshall County Arts Center. Jerry was also recognized as a Kentucky Colonel.
He is survived by his wife Ann Cole Burd Riley of Benton, KY; one son, Brad Riley and his wife Jeri of Reidland, KY; one daughter, Glenys Riley of Bowie, MD; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Martin Riley; his sister Rose Lou Shel-ton; and his baby brother, David Creason Riley. His parents were Raymond Onyx Riley and Garvelene Creason Riley.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Marshall County Arts Center, Light The Sign Fund, 1202 Elm Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025.
