She is a native of Mershon, but she has lived most of her life in Waycross. She was a homemaker and a member of Astoria Baptist Church.
She is the daughter of the late John Roundtree and Lucille Dixon Roundtree. She is also preceded in death by a brother, John Andrew Roundtree.
Mrs. Roberson is survived by her husband, Franklin Roberson of Waycross; seven grandchildren, Johnny Roberson (wife Dena) of Waycross, A. J. Roberson (wife Melissa) of Vidalia, Anne Marie Shepherd (husband Herman) of Hoboken, Frank Roberson (wife Jerry) of Hoboken, Darlene O'Berry (husband Lamar) of Millwood, Waylon Roberson (wife Kristy) of Hoboken, and Jody Roberson (wife Sondra) of Waycross; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Edward Roundtree (wife Judy) of Savannah; a sister, Alice Davis of Twin City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted 5 p.m. Sunday (Mar. 23, 2003) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clayton Davis and Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Ramah Cemetery in Pierce County. The family will receive friends 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
