Patt was a 1950[sic,1951 is correct year] graduate of Huntington High School. She worked for Kitchen-Aid in Andrews as well as for Wolf & Dessaur in Fort Wayne. She later worked as a bookkeeper/secretary for Beauty Guard Manufacturing Company in Huntington. She was an avid fisherman and golfer. She was a former member of the Huntington Elks Ladies Golf Association and also the Norwood Ladies Golf League, winning many club honors throughout the years.
She was born in Huntington, the daughter of Ward King and Ruth Helen (Newell) Meese.
She was united in marriage to Robert L. Beaty on October 12, 1972 in Huntington. Her husband survives.
Additional survivors include two sons: Kirk A. Beaty of Golden Bridge, NY, Kent L. Beaty of New York, NY, two daughters: Cristina L. McNutt of Mentor, OH, Lori A. Riecke of Huntington, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Meese.
