Ramona May Smith, 84, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born Aug. 18, 1928 in Kaw City, Okla. to Mark Lee and Gladys Marie (Krebs) Yeoman. She was a retired nurse.
On September 6, 1946 she married Eldon Dale Smith in Colby, Kan. He died July 1, 2010.
Survivors are three sons: Michael and wife Marilyn, Severna Park, Md, Benjamin "Buddy" and wife Cathy of Bellevue, Mich., and Ronald and wife Annette of Glendale, Ariz.; two daughters: Marilyn Smith of Manhattan, Kan., and Elaine McGee and husband Tony of Eureka, Kan.; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and one sister, Christine Woodard.
Ramona is preceded in death by her husband Dale, four brothers, two sisters, and one grandson.
Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at the First Christian Church in Bucklin. Larry Yeoman and Frank Dorsey are officiating. Visitation will bee from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin. Inurnment will be at Bucklin Cemetery.
