82, of Williamsburg, VA, passed away on September 22, 2017. She was preceded by her parents, Geronym & Genevieve Lawrynowicz, beloved husband of 53 years Charles (Chuck) Chudek and brother, Louis Malinowski. A native of Chicago, she graduated from Lake View High School and earned a scholarship in Design.

In her early years, she worked at Illinois Bell and Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. After raising her family in Wheaton, IL, Cathy and Chuck retired to Williamsburg. Cathy became an active member at the Colonial Williamsburg Historical Society and enjoyed design, fashion, cooking, gardening & pinochle.

She is survived by her three loving children, Cynthia Gossett, Carrie Chudek-Estreich (Daniel), and Christopher Chudek (Judith, grandson Kyle). Her warm smile and caring heart will be deeply missed.

A Funeral Service mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 480 S. Park Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL.
