Victor K. Howard, age 77, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Killarny Court. Victor was born in Chippewa Falls, WI, September 28, 1939, son of the late Glenn and Thelma (Nee: Johnson) Howard.

On April 16, 1960, he was united in marriage to Carol E. Behlke who preceded him in death, April 16, 2017. He was a longtime member of Atonement Lutheran Church, presently known as Living Faith Church. In 2003 Victor retired from Gateway Technical College after fifteen years of employment. From 1972-1990 he traveled with the Racine Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. Victor’s favorite pastimes included woodworking, square dancing, watching golf tournaments, and trips to Vegas.

He will be dearly missed by his son Scott (Karen) Howard; daughter, Debra Howard; grandchildren, Amelia (Tim) Scheidell, Larissa Allison; 2 great grandchildren, April Rose and Eve Alexandria; brothers and sisters, Dale (Marylin) Howard, Diane (George) Bjork, Susan (Rolland) Halverson, Linda (Norman) Friend, all of Eau Claire, Timothy (Marie) Howard of Hixton; brother-in-law, Kenneth Jain of Eau Claire; sister-in-law, Brenda Cremer of Havre, MT; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Kevin; sisters, Carmen (Rodney) Sorensen, Judy (Rodger) Cavanaugh, and Cynthia Jain.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home with Rev. Denise Mbise officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for visitation on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Living Faith Church have been suggested by the family.
