Fred Paul Hale age 87 of Kansas City, Kansas peacefully passed away on Tuesday morning, September 26, 2017 at the Healthcare Resort of Kansas City, Kansas. He was born January 22, 1930 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Joseph Eddie and Blanche D. (Worthington) Hale.

On June 30, 1951, Fred was united in marriage to Ardella Marie Alt. They shared over sixty five years of marriage before Ardella passed away on April 30, 2017. To this union they shared three daughters, Marsha Collette, Malinda Colleen and Marla Dawn.

Fred worked for over thirty seven years at Procter & Gamble in Kansas City, Kansas as an operator and later as an inspector. He retired in 1988. After retirement, Fred continued to keep busy working out on his farm in Linwood, Kansas where he took much enjoyment raising his cattle. Fred was an avid Kansas City Royal and Chiefs fan. Fred got to see the Chiefs win on Sunday and thought it was great to start the season 3-0. Most of all, Fred was a very devoted, loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family more than anything and especially his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. Fred's quiet humbleness, hard work ethic and his compassion for his family will continue on in all their lives forever. Fred's strong faith in God and his love of his family will greatly be appreciated in ways by his family and friends who would never have realized it without his guidance. He will be greatly missed!

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Ardella Marie Hale; four brothers, Robert Hale, Lewis Hale, Donald Hale and Allen Hale; and one sister, Dorothy Hale.
Fred is survived by his three daughters, Marsha Collette Hill of Pomona, KS, Malinda Colleen Grier and her husband Doug of McLouth, KS and Marla Dawn Thompson and her husband Wes of Tonganoxie, KS; one brother, Kenneth Hale and his wife Faye of Kansas City, KS; one sister-in -law, Christine Hale of Louisburg, KS; four grandchildren, Shay Denise Hill-Shotton and her husband William of Pomona, KS, Wesley Scott Hill and his wife Valerie of Salina, KS, Matthew Wayne Sweeney and his wife Rebecca of Lenexa, KS and Heather Marie Ogle and her husband Jonathan of Lenexa, KS; and seven great grandchildren, Madison, Sophie, Annabelle, Eddie, Hudson, Jonah and Olivia.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 29, 2017 at Maple Hill Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kansas with the burial to follow to Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Maple Hill Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kansas.
