DECATUR — Funeral for Carolyn W. Reeves, 81, of Decatur, will be Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Alan Queen officiating. Burial will be in Bellview Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Reeves, who died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at Decatur Morgan Hospital Parkway Campus, was born Feb. 4, 1936, to Arthur Thompson and Ellen Robinson Thompson. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and retired as a surgery tech from Decatur General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Don (Jackie) Reeves and Larry (Whitney) Reeves; daughter, Sabra (Charles) Boutwell Money; sister, Betty Gail (Tom) Roper; five grandchildren, Alan (Jessica) Reeves, Caroline Reeves, Matt (Julie) Shell, Adam Boutwell and Andrew (Kristy) Boutwell; and seven great-grandchildren, Michelle Reeves, Eli Reeves, Logan Dyess, Hannah Dyess, Dakota Shell, Eli Shell and Mason Boutwell.

Pallbearers will be Adam Boutwell, Matt Shell, Keith Pratt, Andrew Boutwell, Alan Reeves, Leon Ferrell and Dakota Shell.
