Silver, Edmund Anthony of Alexandria, MN age 69 passed away peacefully June 9, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Ed will be greatly missed by his wife Nancy, son's Sean (Ann) and Scott (Neysa), grandchildren Anthony, Isaiah, Abby and Camden. Survived by his brothers; Dan (Rosemary), Tom (LeAnn), Paul (Monique) and sisters; Jan (Dennis) Hemmingsen, Marie (Bob) Starr, Marcia (Gary) Lips, Sue (James) Amburgey, Beverly (Rob) Merker, Connie (Gary) Crowl, along with many nieces, nephews, close friends and relatives.

Preceded in death by his brother Jim and parents Edmund Sr. and Rozella Silver.

Driven by his strong faith, Ed fought a long battle with cancer and successfully lived for 13 years after diagnosis.

He was a lover of outdoor sports, cooking and entertaining his family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 16th at Anderson Funeral Home, 659 Voyager Dr. Alexandria, MN 56308. There will be a Prayer Service at 4 pm, and a Rosary at 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at Saint Mary's Catholic Church on Friday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m., 420 Irving St. Alexandria, MN. Private Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka, MN. In lieu of flowers, donation memorials can me made to Hope Lodge Minneapolis, in memory of Ed Silver.
