Following a long illness, Mrs. Helen S. Truesdell, wife of Mr. Hiram D. Truesdell died at the family home on the Wethersfield Road, Sunday, December 2, 1923. Mrs. Truesdell who was the daughter of the late Barber B. and Salvia Conable was born in Gainesville on November 2nd, 1843. She was married to Mr. Truesdell in 1863 who survives her also 6 children, Barber B. Truesdell of the State of Washington, Mrs. James A. Agar of New Westminster, B.C., Fred Truesdell of East Randolph and Walter, Edith, and Ida Truesdell living at home also 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. For several years past Mrs. Truesdell made her home on the farm just within the corporation at what is known as Conable's Crossing. She was a member of the Baptist church of this village and was faithful in attendance when her health permitted. As a friend and neighbor she was ever ready to respond to the demands made upon her. Her life was one of usefulness and devotion to her family. The funeral will be held this Thursday afternoon conducted by the Rev. J. Archie Barker of the Baptist church with interment in the Warsaw cemetery.
