Belden had a 4 o'clock garden setting marriage to Charles M Streibich August 20, 1912 in Battle Creek at the home of her parents on Orchard Avenue. Soft music was played by the Gould string quartet. The marriage did not survive. Belden graduated at Rockford (Ill) college and then University of Michigan and it's law school. She next joined the family law firm in Battle Creek. She Married Gerald Hatch in July 1960 in Marshall. She practiced law with her husband until they closed their law firm and moved to Clearwater Beach, Florida in 1977 and later to Largo.
