Bonnie Ruth Robbins 94, Indianapolis, passed away March 13, 2007.

She was born January 13, 1913 in Keokuk, Iowa to Claude E. and Evelyn (Hiatt) Sewell. Bonnie graduated from Washington High School in 1933. She received the George Washington Art Award from the John Herron Art School. Bonnie was a secretary for L. S. Ayres for 16 years. She retired in 1985. Previously, she worked for Peoples Outfitting, Kay Jewelers, Goodman Jewelers, and IPS. Bonnie was a member of the Millersville Chapter # 300 Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Jean Robbins Roy Bevans (Edward); six grandchildren, Pamela Jean Roy, Douglas Lorne Roy, Jeffrey Lorne Roy, Gregory Lorne Roy, Rodney Lorne Roy, and Boni-Laura Jean Roy; four step-grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Cosby H. "Robbie" Robbins, preceded her in death 13 years previously on March 31, 1994. Her brother, Melvin Dixon, also preceded her in death. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 15 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., with calling there from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 14. She will be laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
