"GREENTOWN - Samuel A. Stayer, 86, of 3878 State St. N.W., passed away Tuesday evening at Aultman Hospital He was born in Everett, Pa., and had lived in this area over 50 years. He was a retired Hoover Company employee, having worked in the Service Dept. for 40 years. He was a member of the American Legion Howard D. Miller Post 436 of Greentown, and a World War I veteran. Mr. Stayer is survived by his wife, Hilda; son, Jack; daughter, Miss Janet Stayer; and three grandchildren, all of Greerrtown. Services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at the A. L. Button Funeral Home, Rev. Richard Lehto officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. American Legion services at the grove. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before services. Donations may be made to the Emergency Squad of Greentown."
