He was born in Blacksburg on September 1, 1928 to the late James Lee Wall and Dora Myrtle Price.
He was also preceded by his first wife and mother of his children, Mary Dauphine Graham Wall; sisters, Hattie, Lillian (Aunt Sis-C), Helen, Robin, and Janie Lee; and his brothers James and Vance (Uncle Jick) Wall.
He lived his entire life in Blacksburg, graduated from Blacksburg High School in 1945 and retired from the Electrical Services department of Virginia Tech with over 40 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Smith Meredith Wall; daughter, Mary Lynn (Andy) Hall; son Joseph Lee (Cathy) Wall; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary McCoy and Rev. Jimmie Lee Price officiating.
Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Micah’s Backpack at St. Michael Lutheran Church.
