Dora was the daughter of Robert Williams and Nelvine Williams. She was educated in the Houston County School System. She was a member of Free Providence Baptist Church in Grovania, Georgia for many years until she later joined the Church of God By Faith where she served as "Mother of the Church".

She was married to C.B. Marshall, they had 8 children.

Survivors:
5 Daughters: Luerine Ferguson, Wanda Woodard(Roy), Nelma Jackson, Minnie Wheeler(James) and Linda Perry(Daniel).
3 Sons: Maurice Marshall(Angela), Horace Marshall and Glenn Marshall.
6 Sisters: Nellie Bryant(Lorenza), Liz Lou Williams, Rosa Williams, Betty Williams, Ethel Whitehead and Mary Brooks(Richard).
1 Brother: Willie Williams.
2 Aunts: Amy Bell and Annie Maude Whitefield(David).
1 Uncle: Herbert Sparks.
4 Sisters-In-Law: Luvenia Marshall, Lillie Mae Marshall, Lena Mae Johnson and Annie Jackson.
28 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday, September 27, 2000 at 2PM in the Sanctuary of Free Providence Baptist Church in Grovania, Georgia with Elder Cannie Lester officiating.
