Phyllis Marcella Meredith, 61, died Sunday at Parkway Medical Center. She was the former Phyllis Frey and a member of Newburg Christian Church and Nolin Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors: her husband, Daniel L. Meredith; a daughter, Patricia C. Merideth of Independence; a son, Daniel M. Meredith; two brothers, Larry M. Frey of Crestwood and John P. Frey; a sister, Beatrice F. Wood of Shepherdsville; a half brother, Alvin Nichols; a half sister, Estelle Pearson of Martinsville, Ind.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Arch L Heady Okolona Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway. Entombment: Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation: 2-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Memorial gifts: charity.
