Patricia Ann (Cartwright) Graves passed peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
A lifelong resident of Anacortes, Pat was born March 14, 1936, to Fred G. and Dorothy (Glafke) Cartwright, joining her big brother, David Cartwright. A proud member of the Anacortes High School Marching Band, Pat graduated with the class of 1954.
That was a big year for her as she married the love of her life, Donald H. Graves, on December 10, 1954. Together they raised three daughters and one son in their beloved hometown. They shared 54 years before Don passed away in January of 2008. Pat was also preceded in death by her parents and brother.
Pat had a winning smile and delightful laugh and shared them often with a good idea or bit of advice to go along. She will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts.
Pat is survived by her children: Vicki (Mark) Mitchell, Rick Graves (Cheri), Nancy (Chuck) Boyd, of Anacortes, and Pamela Graves, of Maui, HI; grandchildren: Sarah (Zach) Orlosky, Bethany Mitchell, Kelsy Graves, Katelyn (Adam) Jones, Andi Koals, Jake Boyd, Arie Boyd and Mitchell Babarovich; and four adorable great-granddaughters: Macy and Madison Jones and Rylee and Audree Orlosky.
We would like to thank all of the caregivers at Fidalgo and San Juan Care Centers. We deeply appreciate the care and concern they gave for our wonderful Mother these past few years.
A graveside service was held at Grandview Cemetery on September 29, 2017.
