COOK, MINNIE LEE, 91, went home to her heavenly Father, Saturday, January 1, 2010.
She was one of 12 children born to George and Fannie Perkins on August 11, 1918.
She was the owner and lead singer of the Keys Ferry Jamboree located in Fairdale, KY for more than 15 years. She was a member of Cardinal Hill Baptist Church, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William T. Cook and a son, Thomas J. Cook.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Tandy, Beverly Frank and Donna Hardesty; a sister, Georgie Keith; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 411 Fairdale Road with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
