Norma "Kay" Jennings, 69, of Tipton, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 24, 2017, at her home. Services in celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 28, at Berean Baptist Church, 3103 W. 13th St., Davenport. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Home.
Norma was born in 1947 in Milan to Frank A. and Ruth E. Foster. She married Ernest A. Jennings on August 6, 1966, in Biggsville, Illinois. She was a manager and auditor for 7-Eleven, Southland Corp. Together with her husband, they owned and operated Cedar Lanes, Tipton, Iowa. Her memberships included Berean Baptist Church, Davenport.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest; daughter, Kim S. Fogel; son, Mark A. Jennings; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her parents; sisters, Arlene E. “Toots” Greathouse, Marilyn Petersen and Kathy L. Marshall; brothers, Bob Foster, John Foster, Denny Foster, Raymond “Butch” Foster, Gary Foster, Mike Foster and Steve Foster. She was preceded in death by daughters, Wendy L. Jennings and Rhonda K. Jennngs; sister, Beverly Pethel; and brother, Kenny Foster.
