Charles Gordon Blanchard, 83, formerly of Hwy. 220 W., died Saturday, January 7, at Lake Crossing Health Care, Appling.
Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Blanchard, son of the late Julian and Sara Atkins Blanchard, was a native of Columbia County but had lived in Lincoln County since 1973. He was a former minister and businessman. He was a member of Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church.
Survivors are one son, J.R. Blanchard, and wife, Lynne, of Lincolnton; granddaughter, Carmen Blanchard, Lincolnton; nephew, Gordon Turner, Hawkinsville; Sheila Hollman, Lexington, S.C.
