Brian K. “Bob-O” Bowen, age 61, of Woodville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday morning, September 26, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Brian was born June 25, 1956 in Oregon, OH to Leo and Ruth (Magrum) Bowen. On October 12, 1974 he married Sheila Maran Hunter in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Brian was a foreman at Martin Marietta where he has worked for nearly 40 years. Among Brian’s numerous memberships they included The Church of Christ in Fremont and The Sportsman Club in Gibsonburg. He was an avid scuba diver and enjoyed hunting and fishing with both his brothers-in-law and nephews. A devoted grandfather he loved being with his grandsons. In addition, he was a good provider and husband and family remained the most important part of life.

Brian is survived by his wife: Sheila Bowen, daughter: Gina (Nick Burton) Bowen of Cygnet, grandsons: Dominic and Nash, sister: Debra (Paul) Rowan of Gibsonburg, Don (Bonnie) Bowen of Woodville, Dan (Sherry) Bowen of Estero, FL, Tim (Angela) Bowen of Port Charlotte, FL, and friend: Terri. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, McKenna.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 PM., with funeral services being conducted at 2:00 P.M. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street, Woodville, OH. Sean Rizor will be officiating the service. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the Trail Marker Park Shelter House in Woodville, immediately following the funeral service. Memorials may take the form of contributions to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio, The American Cancer Society or The Make a Wish Foundation.
