He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Euna Wallace Hamilton, one brother, and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Betty Greenlee Hamilton of Camden, one daughter; Judy Spears (Doug) of Camden, AR, two sons; Jimmy Hamilton (Stephanie) of Norphlet, AR, and Christopher Hamilton (Belinda) of LA, and two grandsons; Bryan and Justin.
Garland was a kind and gentle Christian man, loved by all who knew him. He served his country in the Navy during WWII and later retired from ABF as a truck driver. He also enjoyed cattle farming until recent years.
