Jason was born on November 19, 1986 in Paris, the son of Arnis Payne Jr. and Kathy Whitaker Payne. He was part owner of Payne Brothers Construction with his brother Josh. He loved God, his family, fishing, camping, ping-pong, horseshoes, and cracking jokes.
He was preceded in death by grand-parents, Hazel and Arnis Payne, Tommy Fuller and Shirley Jones, cousins, Andy Sikes, Coby Whitaker and Heather Lawler.
Jason is survived by his daughter, Serenity Payne and her mother, Heather Payne; parents, Kathy & Willie Brown, Junior and Tammy Payne and William “Pops” Gentle; siblings, Josh Payne ,his twin, Justin Payne and wife Tiffany, Derek Payne and fiancé Miranda, Kerrigan Gentle, Alicia Alexander and husband Jason, Luke Brown and wife Bessie and Josh Brown and wife Kelli; grand-parents, Melvin Whitaker and wife Ellen and Geneva Fuller; special great-aunts, Rose Kernell, Donna Lee and Joann Wintermute and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be lunch served for the family, at noon Friday, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 3105 Lamar Avenue, Paris, Texas 75460.
