Matthew was born in Anaheim, California and moved to Texas when he was 4 years old. He graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in 1988. Matthew spent the next 25 years working as a mechanic in some capacity for companies to include Lear Siegler United Nuclear Corporation, Mazda, Kalmar and Catepillar. He enjoyed working around the house repairing items, spending time with friends, and tinkering with his 94 Chevy pickup truck. Matthew was a true “one of a kind” individual. He had a tremendous heart and would always put people above himself. He was dedicated to his friends and family.
Matthew is preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Lavelle Craft, Horace and Hazell Scott; and uncle Donald Smidt. Matthew is survived by his parents Roger and Brenda Scott; his sister Andrea Lanoue and husband James Lanoue; his three nieces Ashley McKenney, Kaylen McKenney, and Cade Lanoue, and his friends.
His infectious smile and intoxicating laughter will be missed but never forgotten. A little piece of you will remain with each life you touched. Until we see you again…
