She was born on January 28, 1943 in Judsonia, AR to Denver and Elsie Gillam.
She retired from the Armona Union Elementary School District as an Instructional Aide after 25 years of service.
Betty was a current member of the Tulare Missionary Baptist Church and former long-time member of Armona Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing with close friends in a trio for many years as well as the church choir.
Betty was married to her husband, Roland Dillon, for over 57 years. Betty leaves behind her husband, Roland; three children Ron (Elaine) Dillon of Tulare, Stan (Lisa) Dillon of Tulare and Denise (Ray) Pendley of Norman, OK; six grandchildren Brandon, Ryan, Matthew, Jon, Rebecca and Jason; five great grandchildren; and brother Don (Willadean) Gillam of Clarksville, AR.
