When Patrick Wilson was born at Grange (Banffshire) in Moray on May 17, 1879, his father, Alexander, was 30 and his mother, Annie, was 29. He married Isabel Florence Eveline "Kitty" Lyons on November 25, 1915, in Drummully Church of Ireland (St. Mary's Church), Monaghan, Ireland. They lived for a while in Chapelizod, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

His wife Kitty died in a nursing home in Aberdeen in 1942 from Ovarian Cancer, but her last residence at her time of death was Collargreen House (Craigellachie). Although Kitty was in the nursing home, Patrick continued to live at Collargreen House.

Patrick lived at Parkmore Distillery House (Dufftown) between the years 1949-1953. Parkmore had closed operations in 1931, but the residence was still let by the owners. So while Patrick lived at the Parkmore Distillery House, he may have worked at one of the other several distilleries in the area.

Patrick Wilson died at 5 Tanfield Avenue, Aberdeen in 1957 at the age of 78. It is a residential address (not a hospital) so he could have retired to live there or been visiting someone.
