Mr. William J. Gee, Jr., 76, of 15500 Providence Road, South Prince George, VA; formerly of Dinwiddie. died Sunday, September 24th at Southside Regional Hospital Center.

Mr. Gee, born in Dinwiddie County, was the son of Mrs. Rosa L. Gee of Prince George, VA; and the late William J. Gee , Sr. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, John Ge; sister, Bertha Harper, nephews, James and Vincent Harper, Tyrone Gee, and nieces, Cecilia Gee and Madison Jones.

He was a member of Providence Baptist Church until his health declined. He served on the Usher Board faithfully and a faithful member of the Petersburg/Prince George Ushers Union. A faithful member of Providence Sunday School, Hospitality Committee, Male Chorus and Volunteer with the Boy Scouts. William was also active in his community. He was a member of the NAACP, SCLC and the Prince George Assembly.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Mrs. Rosa L. Gee of Prince George; brothers, Walter Gee of Dinwiddie; Gary Gee of Highland Springs; and Michael Gee and wife Diane of Hopewell; sisters, Rosa Harper and husband Ralph of Dinwiddie; Audrey Gee of Prince George; Deacon Otelia Jones and husband Lynwood of Richmond and Constance Jones of Petersburg; aunt, Mrs. Carrie Bonner of Princes George; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends, including Robert and Wilbur Briggs, Charles Harper, and Rebecca Ridley.
