Lynn Ivan Meyer the son of Alfred and Nellie (Troudt) Meyer was born September 1, 1943 at Nelson, Nebraska. He departed this life on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Parkview Haven Nursing Home in Deshler, Nebraska at the age of 76 years.

Lynn graduated from Nelson High School with the class of 1961. He was very proud of the fact that he had been the starting quarterback for the Nelson football team. Lynn had always been a loyal Husker football fan and watched them faithfully. Lynn served with the United States Army National Guard.

He is preceded in death by his parents Nellie on February 17, 1976 and Alfred on March 28, 1976, sister-in-law Norma Meyer, grandparents: Bernice and George Troudt and Ola and Henry Meyer.

Survivors include his brother Larry Meyer of Fresno, CA; 1 niece, 3 nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial services were Saturday 2:00 pm May 30, 2020 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Superior with Pastor Joyce Dean officiating.

Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery.
