George Ernest Faryon, 62, died at his home Sunday Feb. 7, following an illness of three years. He was born at Battersea, London, England, and came to Canada with his parents, who settled in Sarnia, Ont. in 1889. His father, Rev. G.W. Faryon, was a Presbyterian minister and the home was consecutively in Franklin, Dominion City and Austin, Man. In 1897, Mr. Faryon went into business in Neepawa. He married Miss Addie Wilson, of Kelwood, May 12, 1909. He was a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge here and the Presbyterian Church and was prominent in the Horticultural society and young people's movements. Surviving are his widow and one daughter, Ruth, of Oberon, Man; his father Rev. G.W. Faryon of Winnipeg; one brother, H.S. Faryon of Indian Head, Sask. and two sisters, Miss Dora Faryon of Winnipeg, and Mrs. J.C. Scott, of Dominion City, Manitoba. Funeral was held from the residence Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in Riverside Cemetery, Neepawa.
