George Sims (died between February, 1737/38 and June, 1740) of Locust Creek, in St Martin's Parish, Hanover County, Virginia.

In 1718 George's elder cousin, George Symes of Lawnes Creek Parish, Surry County, Virginia, was granted leave to take up 3000 acres in New Kent County, near the foot of the Little Mountain. In 1723 the grant, describing the land as on Locust Creek, then in Hanover County, was authorized in the names of the younger George, and his elder brothers, John and Matthew, and the patent was issued in 1727.
