Earl Eugene Barnes, Jr., age 75, of Yantis, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.

Mr. Barnes' memorial service is scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2017, at 4:00 PM, at Believers' Baptist Church, with Dr. Jason Rolen and Bro. Dwight Smith officiating.

Cremation under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Barnes was born on April 14, 1942, in Dallas, to Earl Eugene and Christine Love Barnes.

He married Barbara Faye Rogers in New Orleans, LA, on July 25, 1963. He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He worked as Vice President and General Manager of Dal-Air in Point. He was a member of Believer's Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Daughter: Tara Whittington (James) of Yantis; Son: Earl Eugene Barns, III of Ft. Worth; 7 Grandchildren: Brandon Barnes, Jay Barnes, Dalton & Carly Campbell; Jamie, Shane & Cody Whittington; and Lauren Thomas; Great Grandchildren: Hunter, Jade, Jordie, Cove, Maggie, Gunnar, Walker, and Amos; Numerous other loving family and friends;
