Born May 15, 1927 in Brockton, Massachusetts to Chester and Edna Belyea she lived her early life in Braintree, Massachusetts where she met and married her first husband Lindsay Llewellyn Jordan following his service in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Together they raised a family of two sons and two daughters; Rev. David Lindsay Jordan and his wife Mary Anne of Pawcatuck, Connecticut, Marsha Jordan Wheeler and her husband Michael of Hanover, Massachusetts, Debra Jordan McCourt and her husband Robert of Cohasset, Massachusetts, and Robert Lindsay Jordan and his wife Meg of Duxbury, Massachusetts.
Trudy loved her family and enjoyed preparing Sunday dinners at her and Lindsays home in Hanover, Massachusetts, where everyone was always welcome. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as sewing, quilting, and being a stay at home mother. Late in life she became a registered nurse working at Quincy City Hospital until her retirement.
Following the death of the love of her life, Trudy met and married Gerald Quimby who predeceased her in 2014. In her retirement Trudy became an avid golfer and achieved every golfers dream of shooting a hole in one in her seventies.
She will be sorely missed not only by her children but also by her eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being made by the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home and a private burial service will be held in Hanover, Massachusetts.
