Prior to her death, she was a homemaker. Imogene belonged to Old Hickory Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, John and his wife, Ruth DeFranzo, of Waterbury, and Daniel DeFranzo of Naugatuck. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Linda and CJ Boyle of Tuscon, Ariz., Susan and Edward Rabitor of Danielson, Jeanette and Richard Reynolds of Avon and Judy and Roger Smith of Naugatuck. Also, a sister, Sue Kelley of Atchison, Ark., as well as 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Imogene loved her grandchildren very much. She is predeceased by her brothers, Curtis, Woodrow, O.B. and Cleo Masingill, and well as her sisters, Etta Peck, Cecillia McCoole and Ola Peterson.
