Carolyn T. Cowart – 83
Of Valdosta, GA passed away Thursday, September14, 2017 at her home. She was born on August 18, 1934 in Alapaha, GA to the late Jim and Alene (Sizemore) Tucker. She loved to spend time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She is a breast cancer survivor of 5 years. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Cowart; Grandchildren, LaRon Warren and Missy Warren; Son-in-Law, Buddy Warren and Brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Tucker.
Mrs. Cowart is survived by: Daughter, Linda Johnson of Jacksonville, FL; Son, Richard Keen of Valdosta, GA; Daughter and Son-in-Law, Shirley and Michael R. Gladden of Jasper, GA; Grandchildren, Stephanie and Tommy Townson, James and Jessica Warren III, Richard and Mechelle Keen, Jr., Brittney Warren, Heather Campbell, Mikey Gladden and Laura Gladden; Great Grandchildren: KateLynn Warren, Kelsee Warren, Kennedy Warren, Karaline Warren, Mason Townson, Miles Townson, Carlie Warren, Collin Warren, Kaleb Keen, Emerson Keen, and Harper Kate Keen. Brother, Billy Tucker of Valdosta, GA; Sister, Mary Fountain of Jacksonville, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 5:00 PM in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery. The Cowart family is being cared for by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
