Patricia Ann Richesin, 70, of Riceville passed away on Saturday evening, September 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

Patricia, a lifelong resident of McMinn County was born on September 5, 1947 in Athens, a daughter of the late Gordon & Margaret Fugate.

Patricia was retired from Pioneer Furniture Company. She enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the birds and hummingbirds. Patricia was a loving grandmother that adored her grandchildren.

Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of fifty three years Hurshul Richesin, one son and daughter in law Randall and Sabrina Richesin, one grandson Tyler Richesin and his fiancée Natasha Anderson, one granddaughter Savanna Richesin, one step grandson Logan Harbison and fiancée Summer Smith, one step great granddaughter Saylor Harbison, one step granddaughter Lauren Crowe (Doc), two sisters Loretta Purdie (Kenny) and Della Liner (Phil) of Charleston, TN, four brothers Beauford Fugate (Kathy) of Riceville, Bobby Fugate of Calhoun, Jerry Fugate (Regina) of Houston, TX and Doug Fugate of Calhoun, two sisters in law Martha Roberts (Richard) and Becky Richesin all of Athens, one brother in law Darrell Richesin also of Athens, several nieces, nephews, numerous extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday evening, September 26, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens with the Reverend Kenny Purdie officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time in the funeral home chapel. The family will assemble on Wednesday morning, September 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Lower Spring Creek Cemetery for the interment and committal service.

Companion Funeral Home and the Cody family are honored to assist the family with her arrangements.
