Laura R. Collins, a native of Cheyenne, WY and resident of Larose, LA passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren in Iowa City, IA on Thursday, July, 6, 2017 age 68.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Our Lady Of the Rosary Catholic Church, in Larose, from 10:00 a.m. until service time. A mass of Christian burial will be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Cheramie Cemetery.
Laura is survived by her daughters, Marty L. Collins and Amber Collins Tracy (Steven); grandchildren, Chevy J. Cheramie, Sierra L. Cheramie, Steven B. Tracy Jr., Louman J. Tracy, and Garren E. Tracy; siblings, Aleta Nichols, William Reynolds, Philip Reynolds (Robin), and Roger Reynolds; mother in law, Clara Belle Vizier Collins, brother in law, Todd J. Collins (Karrie); and numerous nieces, nephews, foster children, and grandchildren she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry J. Collins; her children, Roy J Collins and Stacy L. Collins; parents, Roy E. Reynolds and Marilyn M. Reynolds; siblings, Mary E. (Reynolds) (Bush) Weinland, Jonathan (Toady) A. Reynolds, and Timothy M. Reynolds; and father in law, Louman (Chop) J. Collins.
