Ernestine Belcher Morgan, 98, of Fayetteville, NC rested in the arms of God surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
Mrs. Morgan was the last living child of the late Alfred and Sarah Aliff Belcher and thanked the Lord for a long and healthy life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Burness; sons, Noble and Gary Morgan; daughter, Geneva Morgan McCormick; grandson, Dewayne Morgan; two brothers, Luther and Raymond Belcher; five sisters, Marie Cline, Mildred Elkins Kincaid, Estelle Stephens, Frieda Beavers, and Katherine Belcher.
Mrs. Morgan was a home maker and was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Daniel and daughter-in-law, Naomi Morgan of Fayetteville, NC; daughter Glenda Morgan also of Fayetteville, NC; daughter-in-law, Linda Morgan of Winter Haven, FL; 9 grandchildren, Noble Morgan Jr. of Man, WV, Cynthia (Curtis) Bailey of Summersville, Kimberlee (Eddie) Western of Nashville, TN, Deidra (Frank) Goodman of Blair, WV, April (Charles) Burkes of Fayetteville, NC, Danielle (Samuel) Sharpe of Wilmington, NC, and Phillip (Angela) Morgan of Chapmanville, WV. Mrs. Morgan was the proud grandmother of 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In honor of Mrs. Morgan's wishes there will be a private one hour viewing for the family.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017, at the Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV with Rev. Bill Runyon officiating.
Her grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
Honorary pall bearers will be Van Sharpe and Jaxon Morgan.
