Bobby H. Harris, Jr., 51, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Bobby was born December 31, 1957 to Bobby and Darlene Harris in Montgomery, AL. He was a member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene where he was a Sunday school teacher. Bobby was an avid Vikings fan, loved reading, studying the Bible, and keeping up with his nephews baseball games as well as all other activities involving his nieces and nephews.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Diane; sisters, Patricia (Russ) Bullock, Dixie (Darrell) Musick and Barbara Brooks; and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2009 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Eastside Church of the Nazarene, 1451 E. 25th St. with burial to follow at Brinegar Cemetery in Lucas, IA.
