Paul R. Guillory, 74, passed away on September 23rd, 2017 from complications of liver transplants.
He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on November 8th, 1942.
At the age of 18, he and his wife moved to Houston where he began his career as a Barber and Stylist in the Bellaire area. Paul was also proud to be a franchise owner of Barney’s Billiard Saloons, as well as a life-time committeeman of the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo.
His most enjoyable times in life were to have his family and friends at his bay house in Palacios, Texas. He leaves behind so many who will miss his great sense of humor, cooking skills, and natural ability to entertain.
Paul is preceded in death by parents, siblings, and loving daughter, Connie Hartman.
Paul is survived by devoted wife, Barbara Guillory of 56 years; daughter, Debra and husband Eric; grandchildren, Bridget, Steven, Ericia and husband Sergio, Brittany, and Dalton; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Caleb, Nolyn, Nixon, Ariya, and McKenna, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Thursday September 28th. Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm and Memorial Services at 3pm at the Carnes Funeral Home - Texas City.
