Mrs. Mattie Mae Williams Butler, 81, of Salemburg, NC. died Tuesday, September 12th at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh, NC.

Mrs. Butler is survived by a daughter, Dianne B. Graves of Newport News, VA; sisters, Ellen Sutton and Pearlie Williams both of Newport News, VA. and Willie Margaret Moore of St. Louis, MO; a brother, Paul Williams of Salemburg, NC; 2 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

The family received friends 1-6 PM, Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home of Clinton.

The funeral services were held at 1 PM, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Charles E. Perry Elementary School in Roseboro, NC. with the rev. Freddie Herring, Sr. officiating.

Burial was made in Faircloth-Herring Cemetery, Salemburg, NC.
